NOT SO SWEETS
Blisters from my rain boots
The storm siren in Stillwater that doubles as the biggest megaphone ever and makes me feel like I’m a player in the Hunger Games at 2:30 in the morning as I rush to the student union parking garage/cornucopia to get the best parking spot/weapons&supplies to protect my car/my life.

Apartment Tour: Living room
I had plans to make a video tour of my apartment, but that hasn’t happened and requires a tad more effort than I can provide to the project. Sooooo… how’s about some Instagrams instead?
We’ll start with the living room.

The new rug makes the room so cozy. That empty spot is where a future chair will go.

“Home is wherever I’m with you”

Cameras, photos and a plant. The plant is from my dear friend, Brandy. It has grown so much since she gave it to me. I found the planter at RetrOKC. It was love at first sight.

This little Oklahoma dude hangs out with my keys. Key bowl also from RetrOKC.

This window is tops on the list of favorite things about my apartment. It is affectionately known as the special window. Especially special when opened on rainy days.

Photo on the left is by Kelsey. Photo on the right is mine. Best friend photos! I’ll hang these in every home I live in and they will never leave each other’s side.

Pillow love. I found this at Ross for 8 bucks and it matches the curtains perfectly. I scream out loud in stores when stuff like this happens.

I was Pinteresting and homeworking the night I took these pictures.

Lamp love. Christmas present from Mom and Dad. From RetrOKC.

These votive holders are from Tuesday Morning, 99 cents each. I screamed. Also, I just added votive candles to my shopping list.

This table is also a Christmas present from Mom and Dad and also… from RetrOKC.
This room makes my heart sing every day.

Taken with my Holga
Today I realized something about myself. I assume everyone sees me as my best friends and family do. Accept me for me, no judgements, all love. Makes me wonder how many versions of me there are floating around in people’s heads. What do they see? What don’t they see? Do they really matter?
