a HAY list
Hello again! It’s Hayley! I missed you! It’s been awhile since I let my thoughts find their way to a list on my blog.
1. Knitting! I love it! I knitted all my Christmas gifts this year. At first I wasn’t going to give gifts this year because i. it stresses me out financially and ii. i’ve been kinda busy this year and wanted to spend my time with family and friends, not spending gobs of money. If you got one of my knitted creations, know that I thought about you the whole time I was making it. So, a lot of my thoughts about you went into your gift.
2. My birthday is next Wednesday. I will be 23. A very wise woman named Doona once told me that if you find yourself very important and loved and amazing you should have a week-long birthday celebration. So starting tomorrow, my vet school friends and I are going to El Tapatio for margaritas and dinner then to my house for an Alfred Hitchcock movie night. The next weekend I’m going home so I can celebrate with my family.
3. School is going great so far. My classes are more interesting. We are dissecting horses in anatomy. This experience is much better than last semester’s anatomy class. The professor makes sense. The professor is nice. The professor is a TEACHER and doesn’t sacrifice our learning experience in order to prove that he knows more than us students.
4. Adam and I are going to visit Kelsey and Zivi in Chicago over spring break!!! Dumpsters.
5. I want a dog with me in Stillwater. I feel it most when I’m home alone. Maybe I’ll foster some animals when I live by myself next year.
6. I made some resolutions this year. I’ll share them with you once I have successfully achieved them.
I’m tired.
