Adam and I are in Chicago. Kelsey and Zivi are taking care of us and we are staying at their home. They are living in a retired ballroom that now houses a creative bunch of people. There are 8 people that live here. It’s a lot of fun to see their life here after hearing about it for so long. Today was full of a bit of thrifty sifting, driving through downtown and an improv session that happens every Monday evening at the ballroom. I played a melodica and Adam played a little dingy instrument and the vibes. China town is our next stop tonight. Eating good and drinking good are the goals for the evening. Tomorrow we will do some exploring of downtown Chicago and whatever else we want! We aren’t doing much tourist stuff, just taking it easy in a really cool city.
